“During the past 25 years, we have dealt with most reputable companies to take care of our swimming pool needs, and they have done excellent work for us. However, when it comes to swimming pool water leaks, Canadian Leak Detection is by far the best, hands down. All the companies we know were reluctant to get involved in problems related to swimming pool water leaks on the basis that they do not have all the equipment needed to perform the work to our full satisfaction. Canadian Leak Detection was recommended for this work.
We initially discussed with Genaro, the Office Manager, the issues we faced including considerable water loss and sand at the bottom of the swimming pool. We found Genaro to be pleasant and understanding of our needs. We scheduled an appointment at 8:30 am.
Exactly on time, Adam Gavel, a leak specialist for almost 25 years and part-owner of the company, arrived. For one hour Adam performed extensive diagnostics and tests with a variety of equipment in order to determine where the problem was. Adam was business-like, professional, and was extremely knowledgeable with vast expertise. Following the tests, Adam marked an (X) on the flagstone and informed us that the water leak was within one square foot of the (X). He further provided us with an upfront quote in case we wanted them to repair the leak. We were quite anxious to see if Adam’s diagnosis was correct, especially for such a large pool, and to find out what is so special about this company!
Fortunately, Adam was able to arrange for one of his technicians, James Paige, to repair the leak on the same day. We consider ourselves to be highly demanding, and during the past 25 years, we can truthfully say we have not seen a technician who is as efficient and meticulous as James. He worked continuously for several hours, and to our amazement, he located the water leak exactly below the (X). He expertly repaired the leak and the flagstone. His work exceeded our expectations, and it was a pleasure to have this young man do the work for us. So far, the swimming pool is operating on skimmer; it has lost no water and no sand is observed at the bottom of the pool.
